Um, did directv move boston hd to different sat?

Until the last few days, I was getting the hd locals on sat 103....now I have no signal strength on that satellite. Channels still coming in......I noticed a few weeks ago I had signal strength on some sat 99 transponders....did they move the local hd channels to a different sat or what?

Someone over at avsforums is reporting their NY locals seemed to have moved also.

I dunno who did what but my HD signal on the locals has been fantastic.

I reported having a problem with CBS and ABC. During shows there would be a loud whirr..the screen would go blank for a couple of secs and then come back.

Now I have no problems.

Yes They Did

I had a tech over the other day to fix an issue.He told me that they did indeed move the locals to the 99.The picture does look better as.Last night during Conan O'Brien the picture looked amazing.

The only change I know for sure, is that Wash. H/D locals have moved from
Spaceway1 to Spaceway2 per LyngSat.......

Just wondering how can you tell what sat you are getting the station on?

Check which of the sats between the 99 and 103 you are getting a signal from.

If you do not have a H-20 to tell you, go here for a list of what stations are
on the 99 bird and 103. Dbl click on the sat. name(spaceway1 or 2) brings up a
list of cities/stations with a hot-link to the stations URL....

That info is not necessarily up to date. It is better than most, though.

I am getting signals from both sats.
