ULTRASAT RECEIVER + 33" DISH ---HELP!

Hello
I am in Canada, my postal code is L0B 1L0.
I just bought an ultrasat receiver, 33" dish and I have a Qsat 88-1000 KU-BAND LNBF.
The ultrasat apparently has the same configurations as the Coolsat 4000. I would like to know what my receiver settings are, and which FTA satellite I should be aiming at. I would like to receive english channels if possible. Thank you in advance

Welcome to Satelliteguys

Try for Galaxy10R, there are quite a few English-speaking channels on that sat.
Set your receiver to either Universal or Single (Depending whether your LNB is uni or single) in LNB settings, aim your dish and scan.
PSB may be along in a few minutes with a big list of satellites you can try aiming for.

Compass

Thank you for that list.
I have a few directional questions.
For example, if i want G10
"Galaxy 10R 123.0W 234.3 246.4 23.2 35.7"
Which way should my satellite be pointing using an ordinary compass?
In other words, if i get outside on my roof , with my compass, using the example of G 10 , would it be correct to point the satellite 123' W or should I convert that somehow. IE instead of W , point the satellite 123' East.
ALSO when I am figuring out elevation, is it okay to use an angle finder at the centre of my dish instead of the stamped degrees on the hardware itself?

I would use the elevation scale on the side of the dish. (23 deg.)

246 deg (w) on the compass is your magnetic az. (on compass)
234 deg. (w) is the True az. (is the reading after taking the magnetic deviation into account)
