I'm totally new at this so I looked around first but I couldn't find the answer: I have a Coolsat 6000 and want to connect two TV sets? Do I need separate rcvrs? And if I do, how do I hook the whole mess up to the sat dish (I've got dual lnb's)? Please be as non-technical as you can, I've got a lot to learn. thanks

The simple way of connecting two TVs is to put a 2x1 splitter on the TV output of the receiver and connect to the Antenna connection of each TV. Both TVs would need to view the same satellite channel.

If you wish to view a different satellite channel independently on both TVs, you would then need a satellite receiver for each room and a dual output LNBF for each satellite that a fixed dish is receiving.

Multiple receiver installations with a motorized dish is not recommended and can be quite frustrating since both receivers could only view channels from the same satellite and one of the receivers would be the master receiver to control which satellite the motorized dish is aimed at.
