Two recievers, one remote?

In my living room I now have an 811 and a 501. Anyone know if the 811 remote can control the 501 thtough the VCR button or maybe the Aux button? I'm just trying to get down to one remote instead of two.

I just got the Harmony SST-659 remote and after a few phone calls, emails, and forum postings, I got it to control everything in my rack, which includes an 811 and a 501. My biggest obstacle was overcoming the requirement that the 501 have a remote ID of '2'. With a little direction from a response I had to a posting in this forum, I've got everything working like a champ.
