I am trying to set up a very simple 2 box non HD system in my travel trailer. I had Directv installed in my home and added 2 non HD rooms. Boxes were set up at home and worked fine. I installed boxes and the dish that was removed from my home when they installed my HD system.
I was able to go thru the satellite set up on the D12 boxes aligned the dish up fine with satellite finder. But box only gets 97% signal on transponders 22 and higher. I set the dish up in the box as a round on a multi switch. Coax goes from dish to box 25' no splices.

Is the DTV32 bad on the Dish or is the Dish too old to work with the box??

You are pointed at the wrong satellite, almost certainly at 119. Turn the dish to the left about 15 degrees, and then move slowly back until you see all the transponders on 101 light up. you will also probably need to adjust elevation. You should be able to get 90s or even 100 on MOST 101 transponders (some will be low or zero because they are spotbeams pointing at different cities).
The sat finder does not tell you what satellite you are pointed at.....

You were right 5 degrees left and 3 degrees lower hit 97 on all transponders I was sure it was a goner.

Thank you so much wind is blowing and kids want to watch octonauts!!!

Glad we could help.
Those satelllite finders are basically a waste of time...
