I got confused at first as I thought this thread was going to talk about Time-Warner Cable.
Well that's thoughtful of them.TWC will preempt their non weather programing if there is a major weather occurrence.
Winter doesn't start until December 21... That's not to say that it will ever happen..What happened to that Accuweather Channel that was announced would start this fall? I, for one, would like another choice, if dish would carry it.
I remember when DirecTV came crawling back to D* and they promised they would change their programming and get back to "more" weather information vs shows.HA! we all saw how that turned out for DTV
not in most smaller markets. At least one local sub channel usually has a dedicated weather channel.
At least one local sub channel usually has a dedicated weather channel.
Which in my case is useless. At least one local sub channel usually has a dedicated weather channel.
Astronomically, yes. I usually go by meteorological weather though. That actually goes by the conditions outside.Winter doesn't start until December 21... That's not to say that it will ever happen..
I'm confused. I thought "Weather Underground" was a left-wing organization that had domestic terrorism in the past. They must go by the same name, I guess.you want weather at the snap of a finger, the internet's your friend, the local channels website, accuweather, weather undergound, intellicast, weather.gov (that's the website of the national weather service), weather nation, and of course, The Weather Channel's site, weather.com.
plus there's local TV, Local Radio and NOAA weather radio to get the alerts.
TWC went downhill in the last 5 years anyway.
I agree a 100%Lol those of us old enough or who know history still think of that group when we see Weather Underground.
The question becomes or is, if TWC isn't providing anything meaningful and we all have our ways of getting the weather info we want, why keep them? Direct TV should not have brought them back.
