Yeah their back to airing everything but weather. Remember when they used to show older movies?.
What happened to that Accuweather Channel that was announced would start this fall? I, for one, would like another choice, if dish would carry it.
Winter doesn't start until December 21...
That's not to say that it will ever happen.. 
I remember when DirecTV came crawling back to D* and they promised they would change their programming and get back to "more" weather information vs shows.
I haven't found that to be true at all while traveling the past seven years with Dish.
you want weather at the snap of a finger, the internet's your friend, the local channels website, accuweather, weather undergound, intellicast, weather.gov (that's the website of the national weather service), weather nation, and of course, The Weather Channel's site, weather.com.
plus there's local TV, Local Radio and NOAA weather radio to get the alerts.

The Weather Channel does show weather... When Dish or Direct is threatening to drop them.

I'm confused. I thought "Weather Underground" was a left-wing organization that had domestic terrorism in the past. They must go by the same name, I guess.

The question becomes or is, if TWC isn't providing anything meaningful and we all have our ways of getting the weather info we want, why keep them? Direct TV should not have brought them back.

I always thought the weather channel was worthless once smart phones and tablets became so popular. Why would I go to that channel for weather when I have it at my fingertips at all times?
