The Hub HD - Channel 1211
5 StarMax HD - Channel 1725
Showtime Beyond HD - Channel 1736

Saturday, January 8th:

ESPN Buzzer Beater HD (seasonal replacement for ESPN Goal Line) - Channel 1540

Plus, more HD channels will be added in the coming weeks.


I know we have some of those, but I feel it's been awhile since we've gotten anything new(Oprah doesn't count to me).

Other than Epix1/2, Sony Movie Channel, Retro... and most of the movie channels in Platinum? Dish hasn't added much HD otherwise because most of their stuff was already HD, except some Disney owned channels, but that is a dispute.

I wonder how much better The Hub is in "HD".

I wish that they would go ahead and add the extra Showtime channels in HD, and maybe throw in the Showtime channels that they dont carry (Sho Next, Sho Family Zone, and Sho Women) and add TMC Xtra in HD. I also wish that they will add MoreMax in HD and add ThrillerMax as well.

I'd venture to say that "The Hub HD" is a marketing gimmick. Here's the shows they offer The Hub Channel shows.

E* already has bandwidth problems and if they keep adding to those problems you don't really end up with HD quality. Bandwidth is bandwidth and once you reach the cap your done.

They show all kinds of the kid's stuff in HD. Even the commercials and bumpers during the "adult" re-runs are in HD.
