TV2 woes

I have a 522 receiver in my living room and just hooked up a sansui 20" tv in the bedroom. For the life of me, I can't get remote 2 to work, other than controlling volume & tv channels - but not the receiver. I've done the power scans, tried many codes, tried 2 different remotes - nothing works. The remote for Tv 1 is a 5.0, the tv2 is a 6.0. This one didn't work so Dish sent me another one for TV2 - this time a 6.3. Still can't see the receiver from TV 2, and it's only about 10' away!

Both Tvs are set to Air (Tv1, 3 - Tv2, 60), system is unlocked, both remote address are set to 1, all cables are in the right place.

The only way I can watch a channel in the bedroom is to set it on single mode and turn on the channel I want to watch on TV1. Why can't I get either freakin' remotes to work with the receiver!!

Change the TV2 remote to something else. Go to TV1 and press Menu, 6, 1, 3 you'll get the Sys Info screen. Using the TV2 remote:

- Press and hold the SAT button (about six seconds) until all mode button backlights come on, then release.
- Use the number buttons to enter a number from 1 to 15. The light will blink off after each digit is entered and then return to a steady light.
- Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the SAT mode light flashes three times.
- Press the Record button. The number in the Remote Address field should match the one you input.
- To verify the code, press and hold the SAT mode button until the mode lights come on. Then press the POUND (#) button twice. The light will flash the address.
