TV2 remote 6.2

I upgraded to HD (722) and I previously had a 625. I have a spare 625 TV2 6.2remote. Can I use the 625 TV2 remote to control the 722 TV2. If so how?

Hit System Info on the front panel of the 722, press Record on the spare 6.3 remote. What happens? You may need to assign the spare remote a unique address, which is covered in the manual. Why, didn't your 722 come with two remotes?

My 722 did come with 2 remotes. I have a spare 6.2 and I want to use it along with 21.0 to control TV2 of the 722.

You may be able to get away with assigning two 6.3's the same address, but that's not a great solution. Again, the 722 owner's manual covers how to assign a unique (or in this case, duplicate) remote address.
