Tv2 Pq

Ever since we changed our 625 to a 622 the pq has been horrible on the TV2 tv (really, really grainy). How can I fix this?

Check and see what you have the resolution set for. Is it set for 480i or 1080i?

Do a auto channel scan on you're TV2 from the TV's menu.

Also, make sure the TV2 isn't running through a splitter used for youre previous cable tv. If it is disconnect it and barrel connect it together.

Also if it is going through a VCR, make sure it is on the right channel. If that doesnt work, unhook it from the VCR and hook it directly to the TV.

I'm assuming your TV 2 is the same for the 622 as it was for the 625? If so, you may want to try another modulated channel. For example, if it's currently on channel 73 (cable mode), try placing it on channel 21 (antenna mode). A difference in frequency settings can make a world of difference.

You should also check what the modulated output from the 622 is set to and match that on the tv. You may have better luck also by testing different channel output by the 622 to the tv.

I just called dish and they think it's a receiver issue; they're just going to send me another 622
