Turn Off/Disable Sub-Forums?

I noticed that the Sub-Forums now appear on the Main Forums page (see attached). I looked in the User Options and I don't see any way to change whether or not I want to see sub-forums displayed. Also, the Backroom forum doesn't appear on the list of Forums that can be blocked (it seems to be the only one that doesn't appear as an option).

On a different note, I like the Site Update at the top of the page.:up

I am probably going to change the subforum look back to the way it was. I don't care for the look myself.

Is there anyway to integrate the sub-forums into the main forum as an option? ie if I don't want to check 3 forums for D* news, I have the option of having all D* posts appear in one large forum.

Nope nothing like that I know of, unless you configure those forums to be the only ones shown, then you can view new posts and it will only show all the new posts in those forums.

I agree the redirects are kinda silly. They're driving me kinda crazy as well. I think we only need the forum, the pointers are kinda over doing it. I also don't like all the pointers added for HDNet, really clutters the place up
