I was switched from HD Absolute to Turbo Gold HD over the weekend (long story), and while I did gain the main feed of FSN South in both SD & HD, I did not get any of the ALT sports channels.
I am in the Raleigh, NC area, where FSN South splits their broadcasts up when the Hurricanes games are on so they are only shown in NC and SC. Of the 65 games they are broadcasting this season, only 15 of them are set to be in HD.
So what I am finding out is that RSN's that split off their live sports to different regions so that Dish has to use the ALT sports channels in the 440's - customers with an "HD Only" package cannot see these games.
So essentially, with Turbo HD I do get the main feed of FSN South in SD and HD on channel 420, but I do not have access to the Hurricanes games on the ALT channels unless they happen to be in HD, which unfortunately is not many.
Can anyone confirm?
