Tulsa King

I just remebered the NY "Fixer" moved to team "General." He'll be a key player in Season 2.

I just started this, I‘m glad Stallone is not trying to play younger than he is. (The bit about “Where were you when JFK was shot?” worked well to establish his character’s age.)

Did everyone catch the inside joke with Martin Starr's character in the last episode?
Tyson watches as Bohdi spews TV Writer techno-babble and successfully hacks into Waltrip's laptop.
Tyson: How did you learn all this ****?
Bohdi: I spent five years working at an Internet startup.

I am a BIG Stallone fan, and this one is already in "my list". I plan to start streaming it soon (as soon as i finish some other shows lol). I am also looking forward to The Expendable 4 coming out soon with Stallone, and also he is in the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

Almost 2 years from when Season 1 started.
Probably delayed by the strike(s) so hopefully there’s a Season 3 and it come sooner rather than later (he types, being optimistic about Season 2)…

You'd never know they moved production from New Mexico to Atlanta (except one scene in front of a house with pine trees).

I got Mrs. Foxbat caught up with a re-watch of the first season, and the watched the first two episodes of Season 2 last night.

Changes were made.
There seems to be more obvious humor unlike the more nuanced bits from Season 1 (still my favorite bit was when Bodhi (Martin Starr) was hacking the ATF to get at a seized laptop and gets asked “How did you learn to do that?” and he responds that he spent five years with a Silicon Valley Start-up); while so far this season we’ve had a “Xanadu”-esk musical number of the four associates getting properly dressed up for a Charity Gala. Then, Dwight gets “pranked” by the cameo country star Jelly Roll who then belts out a wonderful vocal performance after pretending to be the new janitor.
It’s like someone at Paramount said, “Great show, but it’s too dark. Can you lighten it up a bit, Sly?”
