TS 360 with cable

I just changed from Direct TV to cable. Is it possible to use the TS-360 with cable. When I try to boot it, it stops when it can't find the dish. Is there any work-around for this?

the 360 will only pass an unscrambled signal through.. You can't use it in place of a cable stb

I have used the 360 here in Phoenix with Cox Cable. The 360 will only decode analog cable channels. If you want to view HD channels, you will need a QAM tuner. You can go into the dish setup and select "no dish." After you do that you can go in and scan for available cable channels.
