Trying to pick up IA5

...How could the cold shift the dish that many degrees? I have it attached to a wooden fence, it seems that everything shrunk enough to trow off the direction.

Has anyone have a similar problem?

A few years back, I installed my DTV dish to a pressure treated 4x4 post. I had to repoint my dish about every 3 months for a couple of years until that post finally stabilized, after many additional coats of water proofing. Go with steel! I put my WildBlue satellite dish (more finicky than FTA ) on 2" rigid conduit (~ 1/4" wall thickness) and it has been rock solid for 14-months.
