I bet you guys get tired of answering these questions but I have been reading on true south and I’m really not sure what my true south sat would be.
My zip is 79110
My LAT 35.154056240074254 ----N

My LON -101.85154438018799 ----W
And my Declination = 7.499
Would my true south sat. be.. Intelsat Americas 6 at 93.0°W or Galaxy 3C at 95.0°W OR am I making this too hard and it be AMC 4 at 101.0°W.

My equipment is

Coolsat 4000 pro (BTW How is the blind scan on this rec.?)
Fortec 90cm
SG-2100 (DMS International)
Invacom QPH-031
The switch will be either an SW-21 or a DiSEqC
RG-6 Coax with compression fittings

TIA

My vote would be 101... plain and simple... it's the closest to your true south because of where you are located on the globe.

I guess no one wants to respond about the blind scan on the coolsat?

LOL
the posts look different if I don't do it in "word" for spell check.

I don't have a 4000, but I have a 5000. It's nothing I'll complain about. It's faster than a Pansat blind scan, but usually will miss a channel or two, as opposed to the Pansat. I can't compare to other receivers, as I don't have any others (although I have others) with blind scan.
