Triple LNB to 2X4 Multiswitch works?

I am using an oval 3-LNB satellite dish with a built in multiswitch (4 outputs). I connect one (1) of those outputs to a 2X4 multiswitch in 'LNC B.' I get all channels and perfect reception (90%+) on all 4 ports on all satellites. How is this possible?

It's perfect for recording 2 shows on a TiVo at the same time without running an extra line.

Do you get Sat B and Sat C? To my knowledge the 2x4 will not pass those satellites (some smaller market locals, and HD programming, and Para Todos)

Yeah, you know what, it worked for about 3 minutes, than lost signal. Weird..
