Question: I have a triple LNB sattelite and a new 2 Tuner Hughes DVR80 receiver that requires the 2 satellite inputs for full DVR functionality. I just need to confirm that all I have to do to add the second line is just screw in the new coaxial cable into the empty 4th slot on the satellite LNB (other 3 are taken for the 3 receivers in the house) and then just run it into the receiver correct? I've seen instances where they say that a multswitch is required for this to work, but for Triple LNBs, they have a multiswitch built into them don't they? Please confirm.

Welcome to Satelliteguys!! :welcome

You got it!! Make sure you run your coax to your existing coax grounding block first.

You will need a phone line plugged in for the initial setup. After that you should be good to go!!

You are correct on the Triple-LNB dish having a built in multiswitch.

That's what we're here for!

If you need an additional coax grounding block you can always pick one up at Lowes or Home Depot.

If you ever go beyond the built in multiswitch you can always get a 4X8 which will allow for up to 8 tuners if needbe.
