Transponders to check for installation

When installing a triple LNB dish which transponders should I check the signal strength on for 101, 110 and 119 satellites?

I check transponder #1 & #2 on 101 #8 on 110 and #26 on 119. I understand the locals come off transponder 26 here in the Omaha area. At least that what I've been told.

your dish should be pointed using the #1 transponder from the 101 satellite. Once this is in, the others are gravy. You should be able to get a signal between 86 - 90. Then set your polarization (tilt) to what the ZIP code setting directs and you should be VERY close for the 110 bird.
