transponder problems

i have a 2800 model ird and a dishnet 500 with pro lnbs the problem im having is that satelite 110 and 119 are only picking up odd transponers when i connect a 3100 to the sat it downloads the info and all the transponders are connected but the prblem is that i have a rom 3 and the 3100 wont accept that card what can i do or is there an upgrade for my 2800

ROM 3 is a hack card if I am right and we don't talk hack here. It's not allowed.
