Transferring Photo's

I've tried the search function as usual but with over 600 responses in the Official External Hard Drive thread I can't seem to find any info on how OR IF I can transfer photo's to my external hard drive that I hooked up yesterday. Is this currently avail or is it another future item?? As always, thanks for the help.

The photos feature works with a USB memory stick or camera, to transfer photos TO the DVR so you can view them on the TV.

Transferring FROM the DVR to the external hard drive is not available. You should use your computer to transfer from the camera to more permanent storage.
