Transferring from 510 DVR

Newbie question. When you copy from the 510 harddrive to a DVR or VCR does it take the event actual time? If so, is there a faster program download method? Thanks for the help in advance!

There is no (non-hack) way to do a "file transfer". You have to PLAY the recording on the 510, and record it on the destination device. Therefore, it takes the actual time of the recording to do the transfer.

Even worse, there is still no way (as far as I know) set up a batch of recordings to play back unattended. Sometimes I have 2 or 3 shows & I'd like to put them all on a VHS tape. Have to do it one show at a time - would be much nicer to be able to set up all 3 shows to play back, set up the recording device, and then walk away for the next few hours.....
