I can think of 2 reasons. First, the declination setting is slightly off. Second, the polar mount is not pointing exactly North (for those south of the equator, like in South Africa). The normal procedure I use is to set the declination on the polar mount, make sure the mount is pointing due South (or due north in your case), adjust elevation to find the southern-most satellite (or northern-most in your case), move the antenna to a low satellite position. If not on the satellite, lightly push or pull the bottom of the dish to see if the dish is off high or low and do a slight adjustment to get a picture. Then go back to the starting satellite and check the picture and slightly adjust, if necessary. Then go the other direction and check another satellite. And just keep checking and adjusting till it tracks all the satellites. Have fun.
