Hey Folks,

I added a second lnb to a DirecTV 36" WorldDirect dish for above mentioned sat. The quality for lnb hovers around 65% - 69%. Lots of channels come in just fine. I added TP 11842 H 22000 where a bunch of new religious channels are found at. These channels did not come in on any of the other TPs.

However, I can't seem to get any green bars or be able to scan anything on that TP. Is it that the signal is just too weak over all for that TP considering the quality of strength that I am getting?

If your dish is aimed at 101W for DirecTV and you added one for the 97W you may not be able to get full signal on all of the 97W TP's. These 2 sats are 4° degrees apart and your lnb's can't get closer than usually 6° degrees close. This puts you at a 2° degree disadvantage and therefore the QS is degraded and also consider that the frequencies on 97W are so out of line it's rediculous. I'm hoping the engineer's get it straightened out because it's very difficult to aim the dish to get a somewhat decent signal across the TP band. I suggest getting a mini-bullet size LNB for the 97W and try it, it will mount closer if you set it up right. Your current bracket might need to be modded to allow a closer fit.

Look at this photo and notice the mini I use for this application

In your case the lnb's are reversed position but it's the same principal.
