Anyone know why nothing has been in HD the past few days? I don't watch Fox, so I didn't notice until I turned on the Chiefs game. I went through the PTAT folder and everything has been in SD the past few days.

Doubt it. The antenna feed was in HD.

It could be if the problem was where the signal is uplinked.

Are you currently receiving HD on the sat tuner for the station (not the OTA)?

It seems HD stopped around the 6th based on my PTAT folder. The problem is that the company that runs our Fox also owns the NBC and ABC affiliates. They aren't receptive to customer inquiries or feedback. They don't care if you threaten to watch another station because odds are that it will be a station that they own.

I've never had trouble calling any station and asking to speak with engineering. It's been my experience they are happy to talk to nearly anyone who is polite and having problems. I assume, even though you didn't directly respond, you are still not receiving HD via the sat tuner. If that's the case, contact both the station and a DIRT member here on the forum to report the issue. DIRT members' names are shown in red. You can find who is online by looking at the bottom of the Forum home page.

I would do a power cord reboot of the Hopper and see if that fixes it.

If you were watching the Chiefs game yesterday as a Dish viewers, please be advised our Chief Engineer has spoken to Dish - they we're picking the game up on our SD channel (27.2), instead of Fox HD (43.1). This should be corrected by this evening.

Too bad all Dish would do was have me reset my receiver and do check switches. They need better communication.
