Too Good to be True?

That does seem too good to be true. Something just doesn't seem right. That Seller has only been registered since August. Other auctions that show positive feedback are for items like weed trimmer line. Almost looks like it is a scam to me. $10 shipping for the dish/receiver/motor ? That's too cheap.

(Just my opinion...)

It's probably a mistake that won't be cleared up until one person makes the purchase , I saw this before with a 120 cm dish where the shipping was underpriced and later the listing was closed and updated.

When mistakes happen on Ebay the person listing it isn't neccesarily accountable , they have a right to not complete the transaction especially if there was an error.

You can contact seller with your concern on items being listed or shipping charges , I would definitely buy that combo for $100 , who knows they may even honor that price and take a loss even if it's a mistake.

I did shipped a dish to a customer using UPS, costing is $59.00 for the single dish, now most of my suppliers switch to FED instead of UPS, maybe FED has the cheaper rate or better deal for commercial accounts.

I got a reply back on the deal. The price should be $150 , but he will honor the $100 if I choose to order.
"Hello Brent,

Thank you for contacting The Outdoor Store! The listing should actually
read $150.00 but if you would like to order, I will leave the listing until
after your order to honor the pricing that you have already expected. Hope
this helps!

Regards,
Customer Care/The Outdoor Store "

Even at $150 it's a bargain.
:)

Now he's got two non-motorized systems listed, with different-sized dishes, for the same price. I could understand not having a significant price difference for 10cm difference in dish size, but I'm still not seeing how he can afford to ship these.

couple thoughts on the low shipping

-its legit
-he's using someone else's fedex/ups accopunt (we had that happen before here actually)
-its coming by pony express so it will take a month to get to ya ;)

He's got more systems available (this time without motors) for $110 with $10 shipping. Includes Merc II receiver, 80cm dish and single universal LNB, even that is a steal of a deal for someone just getting into fta.

congrats

You did very well.
That was worth 3 x $50 (= $150) easily, for receiver, dish, and motor.
Not to mention $20+ for shipping.

But as commented above, it was just too good to be true, so I didn't take a chance.
