Tom Glavin gets win #300

You are probabily right about Mussina. Five man rotations and pitch counts, and owners protecting their multi-million investments, probabily preclude us from seeing anymore 300 gane winners. Last year the majors didn't even have a 20 game winner!

I would like to see teams go back to 4 man rotations :eureka

Jimbo

I'd like to see starters complete a game. That has become a rare feat in this day and age. Cy Young completed 749. I'll bet there hasn't been that many total in the past ten years in the MLB.

Aaron Harrang went 10 innings a few weeks ago.

Is he on the disabled list now? If not, please inform the rest of the league that nobodies arm will fall off if they exceed 100 pitches, or throw nine innings in one start.

Nope, he pitched yesterday 8 innings and won.

Maybe this will start a new trend - letting starters actually finish. I applaud Harrang's manager for actually letting a starter pitch. That's what he's paid for. It's time to end pitch counts.

Nah, it's more the fact that the Reds bullepin blows all the leads of the starters and he is afraid to call on them.

Hey batter, batter.
