Why would you want to. TV 2 already records on it's own something different?

no, tv2 side is uhf only, no way to get around that

Yes, of course you can. The only problem is that the TiVo cannot control the TV2 tuner. You'll have to program both timers (TV2 and TiVo) to the same channels. But one advantage of recording on a SA TiVo series 2 is you can transfer those recordings DIRECTLY to your PC for manipulation and so forth.
