Earlier someone taught me the secret 30 secons skip feature and i also learned about making th eplay banner disappear quicker. So I decided to post a thread about any secrets there may be about the D* TiVo. If you have one feel free to post.

I don't think it's possible to quiet only the skip button sounds. You can turn them off completely, which IMO should be the default.

The beeps are the only good thing about the Tivo.

while playing a recorded program, enter the following keys

select-play-select-3-0-select

If you entered it correctly, you will hear three "dings". If not, repeat until you hear the confirmation dings.
