Yes, I know. We have DirecTv. I have 2 Tivo powered DirecTv receivers and 1 R10. In my opinion, the R10 sucks.

As Jhon69 said, the R10 is a TiVo-powered DIRECTV receiver. Maybe you mean the R15.
