Tivo and PPV

Are you able to tivo a ppv? I'm waiting for my D* to get installed (Tuesday!!) and was just curious.

Since the D* PPV movies are typically a 24hr viewing window. How is that enforced once recorded on the DVR? Does it get deleted after 24 hours or does the entitlement expire and you are no longer able to view it?

It's there until whenever you get around to watching it. I've got a couple of the 50 cent PPV movies that they were offering back in May still sitting there, because I haven't gotten around to watching them.

The PPV movie can be retained as long as you want to,you can view as many times as want,and even dump to DVD or VCR recorder. Just make sure your option for it is set to "Keep until I Delete" so it does not accidently delete if the DVR starts filling up with other stuff.
