Hi,

It's time to for an upgrade. After an Fortec Classic-NA, VS Ultra, and Sonicview 8000 I have to move on.

Even tho the SV8000 isn't that bad, it has always anoyed me for being so slow. And now that support has vanished because the "market" is gone, I wanted to get a REAL FTA box. In fact, I pulled my SV8000 and put my Fortec back in place, and it actually receives better.

So what are my choices. I have a 31" Fortec Motorized Dish with HH in Invacom Quad.

I'm thinking either a AZBoz, or the new SatHawk. I'd like to have HD, in the future i'd like to add C-Band, and those are all my requirements so far.
And i'd like it to be kinda fast, and be supported for some time.

Advice welcome! :)

Thanks,

Mickel

The SatHawk won't support both a motor and a switch at the same time.

The early models of AZBox don't have blind scan, and it sounds like it's not fantastic on the later models.

Since you already have a Blind Scanning unit, I'd go with an AZBox with the Fortec slaved to it.
Only thing you'll be missing is DVB-S2 Blind Scanning.
And while the original AZBox does not have a true Blind Scan, you can program your favorite DVB-S2 TP settings and quickly scan a Sat.

Thank guys, that makes it easier. I guess the Sathawk is out then for now...

Any prefered place to buy an AZBox besides eBay? Going for a Premium Plus.
