Ok I caught both of these premiers tonight.

What do you think of Bones as a show, do you think that the futuristic technology in todays setting hurts it, how about the actor who used to play Angel does his past acting stint hurt him and the show, and what of the main character herself, does her oddly excentric personality not fit with her outward appearance and how she carries herself?

On to Threshold, what are your thoughts on this new scifi thriller, who do you feel is the weak character for this show, what about the story line, does the technology fit in realisticly for the current time line?

I didn't see Bones so I can't comment on that one. What channel/station was that on?
Threshold --- Well, I will have to reserve judgement because I spent a lot of the time pretty confused. That happens when you are trying to do too many things at a time. I was interested enough that I will try to watch next time.

I have no idea what either of these shows are...

...If they weren't on NFL network I probably missed them...

eh, Im tired, should be sleeping right now, got tommorrow off to prepare for the trip south for getting customers of dishnetwork back up and running.

Network television, c'mon guys...You can get that crap OTA for a reason...=)>

Only reason I watch networks anymore is for the sexy news anchors and kelly ripa...

Man there are so many shows this year I want to check out, in addition to the ones returning that I had to right them down on a sheet of paper with channels and times listed. As i sat in bed last night reviewing my DVR set up to confirm that i had them all entered, my wife saw the all of the listings and just shook her head and rolled back over!!! LOL! I have two shows per night, with three on Tuesday and Wednesday, for a total of 14 shows I will be DVRing regularly.

I thought Bones was okay. Will have to see a couple more episodes to see if it sticks. Haven't seen the Threshold premiere yet. Haven't had time!!! going to be a busy couple of weeks keeping up with watching them all to see which ones I will actually keep... Or if the networks don't get rid of them first....lol.

Yea it looks like a good season for network tv this season, Im not to keen on bones yet, the technology in the show doesnt mesh well nor does the art deco forensic's crime lab they use and the hot chick with the social disorder's doesnt fly.

I've got Bones & Reunion DVR'ed, but I haven't had time to watch 'em. I liked Threshhold and not just because of Carla Gugino although she's reason enough in my opinion. :luvlove: :yes

You guys just have low standards. So many of the sitcoms aren't funny (Friends anyone?), CSI isn't very good (I watched the 2 hour episode just to see the guy buried alive). It was ok but I haven't even thought about watching it since. I don't even bother with network TV anymore, there's so few good shows. Nanny 911 was probably the last thing I watched weekly and it's been a while for that one...

I've never been a Buffy/Star Trek/Smallville type of guy, if it's an hour long, and doesn't feature the name "baywatch" or "acapulco" in the title, I probably wasn't going to watch it...

Low standards? Not really, its more what you would call diferent tastes than what you have puro. I like csi vegas and new york, miami on the other hand is a joke of a show built around its main character turning it into a cheesy detective dime novel. Im also a fan of law and order svu and law and order criminal intent but not of the original law and order. I was a fan of monk but that show has went by the side of the road with to many of the shows falling into the crime has a direct conect with one of the main characters.

Bones Ive stated my feelings on, threshold Im on the limb, its weak link is the dwarf and his penchant for being a 35 year old trapped in the body of a 16 horny teenager.
My favorite scifi show is battlestar galactica, the acting is well done, story line revamped and cleaned up nicely, special effects rock, the mix of several stories taking place at the same time pulled off well.

I just got an opportunity to check out Bones...not bad, but hasn't CSI already been done a few too many times. As much as I hate all reality shows, for some reason I find myself drawn to The Biggest Loser. I know it sucks...just can't figure why I can't flip the channel.
