I came across this wallmount from Baird support systems. They say this wall mount that can support a C-band dish. (up to 3 Meters).

Has anyone ever tried this option as an alternative to digging a hole and involving concrete? Is this a good option?

I'll throw in my two cents worth. Reading the info, it seems you're really very limited. You need to check with an engineer to make sure your wall can carry the load---You can't use a steerable dish with this mount---And you have to make sure your wall points toward the satellite you want to get as well as the normal line-of-sight problems. In my opinion, if you're getting a big dish, you want it steerable to get the most out of it. And you don't want to be limited to placing it on a wall. A post and concrete may sound old-fashion and crude but I think it's the best option. If you're looking to have a small dish pointing toward only one satellite, this may be useful, if not a little bit overkill. Have fun.
