I was looking at the webpage on Dish's site and I noticed that Showtime had no price listing or expanded description of the service. The last time I noticed this scenario it was not a good sign.

Showtime was part of the CBS negotiation, and should be resolved. Part of that is likely adding Showtime on demand, too. Unless something odd has happened since I started my vacation, Showtime is a done deal.

And no need to start a thread title such as you did. Pot is boiling as it is around here.

Yes, Showtime is under the CBS Corp of Sumner Redstone's National Amusements and was part of the latest CBS negotiations. Showtime used to be under the Viacom umbrella, with dear old Sumner still at the top of the pyramid, of course.

These media companies are very shakey. i don't remember a time in my life until the last handful of years when all these channel disputes were happening. it looks bad on both the program providers and service providers. Always in dispute over something like a dysfunctional family. No wonder there are so many "cord cutters". One reason I hang onto my outdoor antenna and free to air c band.

Are you referring to me and giving me orders?
I was commenting on all the negativity that was transpiring at the time, and that the title might contribute to it. Two threads have already been closed because of it. It does not take much to start a tug-of-war around here lately. I apologize if I offended.
