We are currently looking to buy this one. One major advantage is the Tablet feature. We have a bunch of questionnaires in PDF that will need to be completed as patient coming in. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with them. Are these tablets going to be able to do touch screen with PDF files? Any information will be helpful.

I think a lot depends on the nature of the form, but I tried doing data entry via the tablet, and it worked fine enough; using the Tablet PC Input Panel.

That tablet only has Acrobat 8 reader on it; I was not able to input via text; just text on the screen through the input panel. I am not sure if Acrobat supports direct input.

I have Acrobat 8 Pro on this machine (but its not a tablet); and I search on tablet input or pen, and found very little other then the ability to use a pen to digitally sign a form.

That said, I think that you could probably use the pen to fill in checkboxes and radio buttons, but for actual text entry, you would need the tablet input on the bottom of the screen; its still screen entry, but not quite the same.

I wish I had a better answer; but ultimately it is less about the tablet pc you use, then the software you use it with.
