The World According to Google: The Periodic Table of the APIs

Google Code came out with an interesting chart of the Google ecosphere yesterday.
Chemistry was never my favorite subject, but seeing Android in the top left seems to be a bit out of place.
At least in terms of analogy with the Mendeleev table.

Hydrogen belongs in that corner as a universal building block. Can't say that about Android. At least yet...

At the same time, Chromium in the top right is a good fit, IMHO.

I was kind of surprised by that too. I would have thought the Google search engine would have been in that spot. Since it is the building block of everything google.

Google search - the main money maker - would be good in place of oxygen, i.e. "giving life" to everything else...:)

Chromium should be where Gmail API and tools is located. :)

Search is what we call a loss leader. The real money maker is pay per click. Search does give life to pay per click.

Middle of the night mentor BS entertainment.
With a heavy mix of stock market delusions.

Priceless...:)

Can the Internet be shut down?

Somethings never change...
