The Walking Dead on AMC

AMC to Air The Walking Dead Season 3 Marathon Before the Midseason Finale

Source

"This is it — your official excuse to bum around the house and not do anything important on Sunday, December 2! That night, starting at 9 p.m., AMC will air The Walking Dead Season 3 midseason finale, Episode 8, "Made to Suffer." As usual, an encore episode airs right afterward, and then the unmissable Talking Dead airs from 11 to 11:30 p.m.

AMC is giving fans a chance to catch up on all the action to date in a handy Season 3 marathon, starting Sunday at 2 p.m., featuring the seven previous episodes back-to-back. So you get to re-watch Lori and T-Dog die, feel sorry for crazy Rick on the phone, and cringe as Andrea falls under The Governor's spell with her Michonne, who? routine.

Don't forget: After the December 2 episode, TWD is going on a break until February. Yes, two months of no Sunday night carnage, until the final eight episodes air in the late winter of 2013. They didn't name the midseason finale "Made to Suffer" for nothing!"

Cool I will be watching until Mid Season Finale :) Thanks for sharing :)

Made to Suffer: Sunday, 2 December 2012 (9:00 PM ET)

"Andrea steps up when the people of Woodbury are thrown into uncharted territory; a new threat arises at the prison."

Don't forget to rate this episode over at IMDb.com: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2253608/

So does Andrea help the Woodbury knuckleheads? And what happens at the prison? Should be a good episode!

Outstanding episode!
First, several new survivors, 4-5, are seen battling in the forest and take refuge in the prison. Carl comes to their rescue inside the prison and give provides them safety by locking them into a holding area. Next, Andrea is becoming a Woodbury minion and The Governor is out-of-his-mind batshit bonkers? The answer is yes to both questions! On a somewhat humorous note (very few in this dark episode) one of the new prisoners (country bumpkin guy) is seen hitting on the 17-year old (Beth) and he thinks Carol is gay because of her short hair. Too funny!

I loved how the group extracted Glenn and Maggie right out of the grasp of Merle. But then they had a shoot 'em out at the OK Coral moment. Did they ever make it out of Woodbury or are they still there? Adios to the prisoner (black guy) who went with the group. He was shot dead as a door nail. I loved the scene where Michonne was waiting in the governor's quarters and then finds the tank of heads and "the little girl" locked in the closet. Did you see the look on her face when she removed the sack from her head? Priceless! Anyway, The Governor begs her not to hurt his little girl. And she listens...not! Instead, she runs her sword through her zombie melon. I thought it was the humane thing to do, but The Governor didn't see it that way. And they fought, with Michone getting her head rammed into the tank of heads. Of course, she fights back and managed to poke The Governor's right eye out with a chard of zombie head tank glass.

However, just before she runs him through Andrea comes in and points a gun in Michonne's face. They square off for a moment, but Michonne heads out to rejoin the group and Andrea is left to discover the horrors of the man cave. So now The Governor is wearing a patch and is even more disturbed and angry. So yes, he will certainly be back for the 2nd half of the season. The Governor should be a politician! Did you see him turn on Merle and sell it to the towns people? I didn't see The Governor turning on Merle the way he did. OMG! He caught Merle's brother and he is now pitting them against each other...or perhaps going to let the towns people tear them to shreds.

Oh, the prisoner who died in Woodbury (shot by Shane's lookalike) was Oscar. I liked Oscar and thought he was a reasonable good T-Dog substitute. However, the stats on criminals don't lie...apparently you are dead or back in prison in a few weeks.

Morgan to return...

Source

"...In addition, TV Overmind reports that Walking Dead will see the return of Morgan, played by Lennie James. To those who forgot, Morgan and his son were the first living people Rick encountered when he woke up from his coma in the very first episode of the Walking Dead. TV Overmind suggests Morgan will appear from afar, far away from the conflict with Rick and the Governor. At this present time it is too soon to predict whether Lennie James will be promoted to main cast."

How? Hell on Wheels was renewed, and then the shows front-runner QUIT.

That's a fly in the ointment. They might never be back. Besides,
almost everybody got killed off on the last episode.

Or apparently there can only be one black male character at a time. :)

And yes, Tyrese appears in the first issues of the comics, not long after Shane dies.

Then Tyrese is in trouble... :). No seriously, I think Lennie James is perfect and must come back!
