My name is Pete, and I haven't posted here in years. I'm retired and leave Seattle each winter bringing my DISH receiver with me. The programs I subscribe to are on 110 and 119 W. As many of you know the new Echo Star 11 bird at 110 West focuses it's footprint more on the US and there is less bleed over into Central Mexico. Now, I only get signals from a few of the transponders on 110 W even with a 6 foot dish. A while back I experimented with the Bird at 129 W and even with a 12 foot almost Ku dish, I would only get a signal that wobbled on and off as the satellite wobbled.
Does anyone know anything about the footprint from the new bird at 129 W? It would be nice to subscribe and receive the HD programming from 129 W again. I'd hate to resubscribe only to learn that I couldn't get anything. Thanks for any input
PS I'm located near Guadalajara, Mexico
