The Love of My B-Day. Walmart Special Deal on BD/PS3 11/24-11/25

Vurbano, whree do you shop? I haven't ever seen a $34.99 BD at Walmart. As a matter of fact, except for the BD Box sets I have never seen a BD at Walmart over $27.99. Maybe you need to get out a little more?

I haven't seen a BD over 30$ either, that including Wal-mart, costco,Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, Target, and also GameCrazy, Ebgames, gamestop.
The only ones that I've seen over 30$ are the seasons episodes of Smallville and other shows..

I tried, but didn't get in the right line, but I can confirm that the walmart I was at it was ANY 10 BD movies in stock under $30. In hindsight, the 15 people that got this deal at my store had a hell of of a time getting the 10 movies marked at $0 eventhough they cashiers knew it to be legit. I think it took 3 hours to get all 15 of these people rung up. In the meantime I just grabbed other deals as the PS3 buyers had to pay immediately for their stuff and couldn't buy other stuff until the PS3's and movies were rung up.

Laff, well, that would explain why they had such a hard time getting it rung up, but I guess the joke is on me then cause as far as I could see, they got the deal to go through.

Maybe I'll try tomorrow for the deal at a different local walmart since I am pretty sure this one is out of the 80gb bundles.

I went to my local walmart asked if the deal was going on, they said yes I picked the movies, they started to ring them up and got to a point and the reg wouldnt let them change the price of anymore movies. they called a maoanger who said the deal didnt start till tomorrow.

Here in Reno,Nevada people are getting their BD movies for free(the PS3 deal), no problem here ringing people up, seen at least 2 people in line getting rung up this morning around 7:19am.
It should be a Wal-mart nationwide deal on the same day, weird that they are saying the deal is starting tomorrow.

Well went out today to get the deal and it turns out that all 3 walmarts in my area honored the deal yesterday so movie selection today sucks! Eventhough there were a couple of the 80gb PS3's left, the BD movies were so picked over, I couldn't find 5 I wanted.

Rumor has it though that best buy is actually matching the deal today only and further rumor is saying they are not sticking to the $30 price limit on movies.

At the 3rd walmart I spoke to the manager about the mistake of honoring the deal early and he said "yeah, we're gonna hear from higher ups on Monday I'm sure" and I got him to do a couple BOGO offers on some movies cause of "my trouble" of coming out to get the deal.

LOL, I went back to one of the walmarts today and someone returned one of the PS3 80gig models, so I jumped on it and got the 10 free. I got to choose from anything in the store.

Btw, I got the 4 BD die hard series and am selling them cheap in the classifieds section if anyone is interested.

You bought a used PS3 ? Or was it sealed?

It was sealed still, had all the factory tape intact on the outside. Lady said the reason for the return was that the person decided to get a 360 instead for his kids for christmas. Doesn't matter to me much, I already sold it to a co-worker today. I just wanted the movies.
