I must be a "real Satellite Guy" then. Wednesday this past week lost signal on both the FTA and DN dishes. Thought it might possibly be sun outage but when I went to check on it I discovered the woodshed roof they are mounted on was starting to buckle under the weight of all the snow! Got out the roof rake and removed the snow, then first had to move the DN pizza dish so the wife had her channels. Moved it to a post on the porch, pointed it to where I thought it looked good, dug out the old Visionsat and was going to set up on the porch to aim it and decided what the heck, plug the DN receiver back in and see if you get anything. And I had it dead on! Which was great as it was about 15 degrees outside. Checked signal for both 110 and 119 and tightened it in place. Later that day I jacked the roof back up and put a post under it. Out of curiosity tried the FTA receiver and had that back too!Only a "real Satellite Guy" can go out and align a dish like that without any sat finder type of equipment along!
