Terminator Genisys Movie - Trailer Tease

I thought for what it is, it was entertaining, and effectively rebooted the series in a good way. Enjoyable.

Agreed.... saw it on Thursday night in 2D and really enjoyed it...but only 15 people in the room.
Did anyone catch the end credits?

Terminator Franchise on Indefinite Hold After Genysis Flops https://games.yahoo.com/news/terminator-franchise-indefinite-hold-genysis-112600419.html
This article, Terminator Franchise on Indefinite Hold After Genysis Flops, originally appeared on GameSpot. The latest Terminator movie, Terminator Genysis, proved a disappointment at the box office this summer, with a domestic gross of under $90 million. While the film's overseas success did suggest that a sequel might still be made, it now seems that this is not going to happen.According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is unlikely to turn a profit for distributors Paramount, who have now put the sci-fi action franchise "on hold indefinitely".In advance of the film's release, producer David Ellison told Den of Geek that Genysis would be the first part of a trilogy of new Terminator movies. In the same interview, co-producer Dana Goldberg explained that they planned to shoot the next two films back-to-back, while Paramount had scheduled them for summer 2017 and 2018 releases respectively. With the movie series on hold, the status of the spinoff Terminator TV show that was announced in late 2013 is unknown. James Cameron, the writer and director of the original 1984 film and its 1991 sequel, will regain control of the rights to the property in 2019.

Has The Terminator Franchise Been Canned? http://news.yahoo.com/has-the-terminator-franchise-been-canned-180302226.html
It’s no secret that ‘Terminator Genisys’ failed to ignite the box office… but has it put the final nail in the T-800’s coffin?According to The Hollywood Reporter, it looks as though the last ‘Terminator’ movie hasn’t exactly impressed the studio… despite the return of Arnold Schwarzenegger.“The film did well overseas, especially in China, where it grossed $112 million,” they explain. “But the $150 million-plus movie still will lose money, and sources say the notion of a Terminator universe is on hold indefinitely.”But this is a very different story to the one told prior to the release of ‘Terminator Genisys’.“This summer, [David] Ellison, 32, went very public to promote the first film that he produced himself, Terminator: Genisys. He sat for a profile in GQ and gave an interview to The New York Times in which he outlined plans for a Terminator ‘universe’. Declaring that he wanted his company to be another Marvel, he said he had two sequels and a television show in the works.”
