I didn't say I was "hoping" anything. Given the 21 NBC stations Tegna owns and the sweeps this month that effects advertising rates, plus Tegna attempting to sell the company, I suspect there was a lot of pressure on them to settle. On the other hand, with the proliferation of streaming and OTA, Dish likely was not seeing any significant subscriber defections at this point, and could hang in for the best possible deal. I think it's reasonable to assume that the settlement was nowhere near the 300% increase Tegna was alleged to be asking for.
