Temporary loss of locals?

What could cause a temporary loss of all satellite locals with just a blank screen? Clear skies, good signals on spotbeam, guide data & all functions & other channels (including, locals on OTA adapter) normal. I don't know how long it lasted other than 20 minutes or so after I first detected it. I had tuned to one of the missing locals and had been stepped away for a few minutes when I heard sound return - sure enough, locals all returned simultaneously. Been with Dish a very long time & have been early adopter of every new iteration of the Hopper and thought this was very odd.

That's the only thing that I could come up with, do all local carriers within a Dish service area uplink from a common site?

I checked Acuweather when all the channels went black and there was a severe storm over Cheyenne at the time.
Outage for me lasted probably 10 minutes although I didn't time it.
