Hi all, anybody on the east coast getting the Trace channel from Telstar 12? I have a 80 CM fixed dish pointing there with a marginal signal (just above breakup on the other channels on the 11963 TP) The other channels display fine but not Trace. I just get a blotchy picture but the audio is good. I also tried my AZbox with the same blotchy picture. ??? Thanks, DC

I get great signal on T-12 an get all the S2 TP's fine but the 45000 SR 1's, but the "Trace" channel looks the same here with fine audio, so it looks like they have a problem with it, an have 77 Q with a AZ on 11963-H.

The channel shows fine here in Ft lauderdale with sig 87 on a Coolsat using a 90cm dish on a motor. At your location it might be getting close to the horizon and the reception might be affected by terrestial interference. I checked "Trace" on NSS806 40.5W and it is also showing good with no issues.

just check it an the picture is the same here as this morning, not a signal problem because "Trace" in the corner is solid an not blocked also with great an steady audio, just the rest of the screen is like a frozen blocked picture, all other channels in this mux play fine. checked this TP with 3 different satellites, 10-footer, 1.8m, an a 1.2m, an 4 different receivers all with same type of picture.

Hi Captain, nycrich and the group, now that is interesting. What could cause a signal to be viewable only on a Coolsat receiver?

nycrich, can you list the SR and PIDs from the working Coolsat?

Thanks, DC

check this channel last night, w/Cool-5000 with 97 on Q, an had same picture, as with a Sv-8000, Pan-9000, AZ-Elite, an Diamond-9000, frozen blocked picture.

now just checked this morning DC, an black screen for "Trace", no audio, an the other channels in this mux play fine. I pretty much keep a satellite on this bird most of the time for the Euro feeds, so it is no big deal for me here to check.

Hi Captain, I have the same thing now - just a black screen. We can hope whatever the problem was it is down now for repairs.

Can I ask what type of feeds are you finding - news or sports? I have an inverted 80 CM dish fixed dish on T-12 now and will be blind scanning it often.

Thanks, DC

just rescan this a few minutes ago an on this scan no "Trace" scan in at all, so it looks like they drop this 1 channel on that TP, the other 3 channels on this TP are still their an running fine.

on the feeds yes an yes, it seems NBC uses this satellite a lot on their euro feeds to an from the pond.
