Not at the moment, but I will later-I'm at work.Might not be a splitter. Dish uses similar looking devices for other purposes.
Can you post a picture of it?

No, they don't have any way to do that. However, the TV signals will not pass through the Dish equipment, paused or active. I think there may be some misunderstanding here about what is wired where and how. It's not related to your account being paused. We have the antenna, the cable, and couplers, but were unable to scan for channels, so I wondered if our pausing the service caused them to block any signal. I really appreciate info!

I had already had my ota installed on my hopper using the ota dongle. When I called in to cancel they turned off the satellite channels completely ,put the ota can still be added and taken away and I can run scans for new channels. It operated just like it did except only for ota. They shouldn't do anything at your house unless you have to send back an lnb. Then you won't be able to use it for much of anything with out it being able to lock on the satellites.Did you find it difficult to hook up OTA antenna after cancelling Dish? My husband and I cannot find a signal...do they deactivate the box on the house where the coax comes in?
That should be easy to see if it is disconnected....Did you scan for your channels?Did you find it difficult to hook up OTA antenna after cancelling Dish? My husband and I cannot find a signal...do they deactivate the box on the house where the coax comes in?
It really doesn't matter what the NFL wants. Heck, Tegna NBC stations probably don't want anyone to miss the SB. It's not as easy as what some entity "wants".This one is a real stumper. I don't remember a dispute lasting this long; the former Tribune channels ~3 years ago lasted 2 months, including the MLB all star game. The super bowl will be broadcast on NBC this year, so it doesn't affect me as Tegna owns the CBS station here, but it sounds like they are a mix. I can't imagine the NFL wanting anyone to miss the SB at the new SoFi stadium; but at this point, one never knows.
True, but the number 1 broadcast draws a bit more than reruns of The Nanny. Advertisers notice missed viewers. It really doesn't matter what the NFL wants. Heck, Tegna NBC stations probably don't want anyone to miss the SB. It's not as easy as what some entity "wants".
Disputes have lasted longer. I lost my ABC affiliate for 6 months last year. This one is a real stumper. No way I'd be that patient, I'm still here only because they offered half off this month, if that doesn't continue (& I doubt if it will) I'm gone. I really dislike having to use Peacock, it's not always clear what is a new episode without digging into the menu. They need to update their software to make it more user friendly.Disputes have lasted longer. I lost my ABC affiliate for 6 months last year.
We have lost NBC and my antenna is marginal when it rains (in Portland, HA). The peacock interface, well it's worse than Dish on Demand. Cumbersome and slow on our LG OLED and on an Sammy tablet. Greed, nothing but greed. No way I'd be that patient, I'm still here only because they offered half off this month, if that doesn't continue (& I doubt if it will) I'm gone. Well at least you can sometimes use an antenna, eastern Oregon pretty much needs to be streaming, satellite or Spectrum - OTA just isn't reliable due to weather/mountains. Peacock streams perfectly on my Chromecast with Google TV, I just hate the interface. We have lost NBC and my antenna is marginal when it rains (in Portland, HA). I don't normally believe in government intervention, but this would be an exception in my opinion.Tegna's CEO Dave Lougee is trying to sell the company. If he can get an outrageous contract from Dish he can justify a higher sales price which puts $$$ in shareholders pockets.
