Well the good thing is that these 3 already have Tegna's main subchannel (Justice).

Tegna has run the stations since 2013 when they (Gennett) bought out Belo. This is just the formality once Gannett split the newspaper and TV into 2 separate companies

Yeah thanks I seen the mistake earlier on the Portland station. I was wondering why they already all had justice. So now this is just the process of closing the deal from them running the stations fully than a shared agreement

It had to do with Gannett owning a newspaper in those 3 markets and according to the FCC "This ban prohibited the ownership of a daily newspaper and any "full-power broadcast station that serviced the same community"

So when Gannett split into 2 companies (Gannett for news, Tegna for TV) now they are within the rules
