Tech Question for DPP44 Switch (Help)

UPDATE, tech came, reviewed everything went to the attic where the DP44 and power inserter is installed, and yelled OUCH!, turns out the DP44 was red hot. he replaced the DP44 and power inserter and all works fine on all 4 ports. Here's the odd thing. Check switch shows all 4 sats with good signal. System info on both 722 and the 211 shows red x on 118. But both odd and even transponders come in and the only thing on 118 are my HD locals and they come in fine. So the tech went on the roof, reaimed and said everything checks out but both units had just received updates and perhaps that was the cause. but everything works fine. 1st thing he did was look at the barrel connectors on the plates, I said I just replaced with 3ghz ones and he was surprised I knew about it...thanks Satguys!

Good deal. IMO, I wouldn't have a switch in the attic because it can get really hot in there. If you could relocate that switch you could avoid future failure.

My problem is I can't fish 2 additional cables down to the basement. Maybe one more in the conduit but I'm saving that for when I get another ird.
