Ok please please tell me If understand or I'm totally off.
I'm working to get into a new HD set - 50" Sony SXRD, by the end of the week.
I currently have a 501, and 301. My plan is to get a Vip622 on the 1st, for the mentioned above. I also want a 625 for the master bedroom, and share with the oldest son in his room, and have a 301 in another room. I plan on running new RG6 in the house, and my questions are as follows.
Is anyone expecting the Vip622 to be the xbox 360 of satellite? Is that why it is stressed to call 1sec after midnight?
I plan on running a dual RG6 from the current Dish to the attic to a telco/cable board. Will a DP44 switch support this set-up, or will I need 2?
A dual run to the 622, dual run to the 625, a single run to the 301. And an additional run to the secondary room from the "serving 625 room". I contemplated running singles to the dual rcvrs, but I figured
a)might as well, run duals while I'm the attic
b) didn't know if the DP separator's will work with the MPEG4 or HD
If I'm off please describe a new way to run the cable. I will be doing it this weekend.

Not so tech question.
My current bill run's about $76 a month. That's with the home plan AT180 w/locals.
After all said and done with above, Will I be able to stay under $80 a month with HD, 3 rcvrs, locals. Aren't the fee's alone an additional $20 a month. I also plan on dropping down to the HDsilver (AT120)

By the way. The reason for the post is, I've Emailed DISH twice about a week ago, but haven't even received a "Think you for your inquiry" Email
Thanx in advance for any help,
Mike Windell

Mike, If I read the above correctly, you plan on having a total of four receivers in your home--two of which will have dual-tuners. The DPP44 will support this nicely and only require one run of RG6 coax from the DPP44 to each receiver location. It does not matter if SD or HD (including MPEG4), the separators will work just fine for both dual-tuner receivers. The only requirement is to have compatible LNBFs. I have attached a scan of the compatibility chart. Hope this helps.

My head hurts when I try to figure out the new pricing. I will let someone else answer that part for you. Bob

Yes, you understand it correctly but only 3 rcvrs. You answered one of my main question's. I'm with you on the pricing headache. I feel like I've been cramming for an EXAM for the past 3 days, just to get up to speed on the HD/MPEG4/DP1000, or anything else that I've forgot about.

Thanx again,
MIKE
