Dish Networks new 922 with a built in SlingBox has a special IR remote control that must be married to the 922 that comes with it. One must activate the remote control and its 922 by pointing the remote toward it and then hitting an activation button in the 922's manual.

My URC 850 remote can't learn the keys, has anyone done it yet?

All I did to get my IR remote/repeater to work was to activate IR control on the 922. My remote was setup for a 722 and works fine.

Remote

Just get a Logitech Harmony remote..It is 200 bucks and most would say that is a crazy price to pay for a remote but I can tell you this...You can literally do away with all your other remotes including you 922...It is that good.

If you have a Dish IR remote on "sat 1 (i.e. hold the sat button until it blinks put in 01#)" it will control the 922 without issue. So, you can use one to train a learning remote, or if your learning remote has a code for Dish it will probably work too.

Max SD 311 SAP "leaking" into standard audio.
